About the event

Special Night Dive, Deep Dives and more!

Duration: 2 days

About:

One of the most highly rated dives in the MV Fling's collection is the unique Night Dive at Stetson Bank. Stetson Bank is particularly known for its LACK of coral reef cover, which means many of the same animals are present but have nowhere to hide from curious divers! The wildlife at Stetson Bank is a real delight, but at night, a completely different set of eerie creatures emerge. In the deep waters beyond the bank's drop-off, large sharks (such as a resident Sandbar) and other visitors are commonly seen.

The Kraken is a 371 ft. long cargo ship that was intentionally sunk near Stetson Bank. Like most artificial reefs, it's famous for attracting sport fish. The ship was sunk in 2017 and has since become home to a variety of marine animals and creatures.
