🗓️ Days 1-3: Naha & Kerama Island (Warm-up + Easy Diving)

Base: Naha (main island)

• Recover from travel, light exploring

Visit:

• Shuri Castle

• Kokusai Street (food + nightlife)

Diving (Kerama Islands – MUST DO)

• 30–60 min boat from Naha

Known for:

• Crystal clear water (Kerama Blue 💙)

• Sea turtles 🐢

• Coral reefs

👉 Do:

• 2 days of boat diving (2–3 dives/day)

• Great for easing into conditions

🗓️ Days 4–6: Onna Village (Main Island – Advanced Sites)

• Base: Onna (west coast)

• More resort-style but close to top dive spots.

Diving Highlights:

• Blue Cave (Cape Maeda) – iconic

• USS Emmons Wreck (advanced)

• Drift diving along reef walls

👉 Mix:

• 1 chill reef day

• 1 advanced/wreck day

• 1 snorkel + beach day

Adventure:

• Cliff jumping / snorkeling

• Kayaking or SUP along coast

🗓️ Days 7–9: Miyako Island (Big Animals + Epic Visibility)

✈️ Short flight from Naha (~1 hour)

Why Miyako?

• Fewer crowds

• Dramatic underwater terrain

• Excellent visibility

Diving:

• Archways + caves

• Strong currents (great for experienced divers)

Possible:

• Reef sharks 🦈

• Big schools of fish

👉 Plan:

• 2–3 dive days

• One day off for exploring beaches

Above Water:

• Sunayama Beach (famous rock arch)

• Scenic drives around island

🗓️ Days 10–13: Ishigaki + Yaeyama Islands (Best Diving of Trip)

✈️ Fly to Ishigaki

Why This Is the Peak:

• Manta rays (seasonal but common)

• Strong biodiversity

• World-class dive sites

Diving:

• Manta Scramble 🐋

• Drift dives with pelagics

• Coral gardens

👉 Plan:

• 3 full dive days

• 1 rest/island hopping day

Side Trips:

• Taketomi Island (traditional village, chill biking 🚲)

• Iriomote Island (jungle + waterfalls + kayaking)

🗓️ Day 14: Return to Naha + Fly Home

• Relaxed morning

• Souvenirs + final Okinawan meal
