River City Dive Club Meeting

Join the River City Dive Club for Archaeology on Tap!  at the Blue Star Brewing Company.  Fellow diver, Joe Simmons, will be presenting on the Topic: "Marine & Terrestrial Archaeology of Campania, Italy: A Brief Overview."  

The Campania region, also known as the Neapolitan region, is an area located in southern Italy, on the west coast on the Tyrrhenian Sea. The region is fringed by beautiful beaches and is dotted with two islands, Capri and Phlegraean and is even home to an underwater archeological park, where you can explore the submerged city of Baiae, once a buzzing resort town until volcanic activity sent it to the sea bed. You’ll love diving in these waters filled with marine life as well as exploring the caves, canyons and vertical walls that make the underwater geology so interesting.
