Nitrox Specialty
The Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Course enables you to dive a mix of gas with more oxygen than normal air.
While Nitrox doesn't allow you to dive deeper, it does allow you to execute more dives in a day at shallow depths. Nitrox can also make you less tired after dives.
The Nitrox specialty course is only a 4 hour class done in a classroom, and is often a popular choice among new divers going on trips. In class, you'll learn additional dive tables and planning methods to be used when diving Nitrox. Students will also learn how to analyze gas cylinders to determine the contents.
