Dive-Masters is one of South Texas’ oldest and largest SCUBA Schools and Dive Shops, and is a Pro Platinum Facility! Since 1976, we’ve been doing what we do best: Teaching SCUBA, snorkeling, and swimming to the San Antonio Area. In our shop, we house the largest pool used for training in San Antonio. Our 100,000 gallon pool is covered and heated for year round fun.

SCUBA

Our motto has always been: “We Do SCUBA.” Dive-Masters has been certifying divers to SCUBA dive since our doors opened in 1976. We’ve certified thousands of divers from 10 year olds to people in wheelchairs. In a matter of two weeks our divers can call the ocean their home, and be on their way to a lifetime of fun and adventure! We certify through SSI (Scuba Schools International), but recognize ALL agencies! Also, as our staff is majority military or former military, we recognize the men and women serving our country. If you are a service member or veteran, we would be HONORED to teach you SCUBA or go diving with you.

If you want to try SCUBA out and see if you like it before you sign up for a class, give us a call, hop in the largest scuba training pool in San Antonio and check it out for yourself! Classes start every weekend, but weekday and night classes are available if it works best for you! Let us know, and we’ll work our schedule to fit yours!

Dive-Masters is also a chapter member of the Dive Pirate Foundation which focuses on training people with disabilities. Members of our staff are trained to certify and dive with “Adaptive Divers.” We have trained amputees, divers in wheelchairs, visually impaired divers, and divers with all kinds of other injuries. There is no limit to the fun that can be had diving! As we like to say: “The fish don’t care!”

Already a diver? Dive-Masters is home to one of the oldest dive club in San Antonio: The River City Divers! If you’re looking for a place to get wet, we’ve got your back! Join us on night dives or day dives at the Comal River, San Marcos River, Canyon Lake, Medina Lake, Lake Amistad, or the coast! We also have trips to Cozumel and Key West if you are interested! Let us know where you want to go, and we’ll do our best to get it set up! If you have gear that you need serviced, we also handle that too! We service ALL types of gear and brands! If you can’t make it by the shop, who cares! Mail us your gear and let us help you through our new service: “The SCUBA Bench.” We have a week turn around policy on servicing (unless special parts need to be ordered). Give us a call or bring it in to get an appraisal!

In our 8,000 square foot Dive Shop, we also sell multiple brands of gear including Oceanic, Aeris, Cressi, Tusa, Tilos, Scubamax, IST, Ikelite, Sealife, Sea & Sea, O’Neill, Trident Accessories, and many more! Come by and let us help you pick the right gear for you! If you have any questions about gear, our staff has the knowledge to answer your questions. Our philosophy is instead of pushing to sell you gear, we’d rather you be well informed before you make a big investment such as dive gear.

SWIM

Dive-Masters is home to Swim San Antonio, which is the newest swim school in the South Texas Area! We’ve been teaching swimming for years now, but now we have a school devoted to building confident, better swimmers. Classes can be set up afterschool, or on the weekends! SNORKELING

As part of our SCUBA certification, divers learn to snorkel. If diving isn’t your thing, but you still want to learn how to snorkel for that upcoming trip, come by and sign up for our snorkeling class! Let us know what works for you, and we’ll set up a class!
